We represent students accused of misconduct or facing disciplinary proceedings at every level, from allegations of sexual misconduct on university and college campuses to claims of threats of violence in high schools.
More than ever before, students are being subjected to disciplinary matters initiated by educational institutions. While allegations of sexual assault involving issues of consent and the use of drugs and alcohol on college campuses are most prevalent, many allegations of student misconduct are on the rise. Not only do we represent students in the college setting, we also regularly represent students in cases at K-12 educational institutions. These cases typically involve allegations that the student is a threat to others. We will work with the institution to ensure that the student’s rights are protected and for a sensible resolution, but that is not always possible. When necessary, we aggressively litigate these cases, recognizing the impact any finding of misconduct has on a student’s future.
